Q1: What is Floatface?
A1: Floatface is a patent pending, modified nightstand (bedside table) which enables a spine and neck friendly, 3rd dimension of sleep, namely stomach sleeping.
Q2: How does Floatface work?
A2: Floatface replaces your existing nightstand, thereby extending the sleeping area whilst maintaining the available space in the bedroom. A user would sleep with their head, face and upper body on the cushioned Floatface system, while their lower body and feet would be angled back across the main bed.
Q3: Who would use a Floatface sleep system?
A3: Primarily people who have trouble sleeping, getting to sleep, or suffer regular spells of neck or shoulder pain, from stomach sleeping. However, some non-stomach sleeper and people who snore may also benefit from this extra dimension of comfortable sleep.
Q4: Why can’t I just sleep in my usual stomach sleeping position?
A4: You can, however, as your head is rotated to the left or the right on your pillow, your neck and upper back are misaligned. If you don’t already experience these symptoms, then it’s possible chronic neck, shoulder and back issues will develop through stomach sleeping.
Q5: Where can I buy a Floatface Nightstand?
A5: Floatface is currently in the prototyping and product testing phase of development, allowing us to provide a sleep solution which maximizes benefit to our customers. It is planned to be in retail stores late 2012.
